The faculty of Communications & Media Studies at UiTM has offered me every possible way to succeed. More importantly, it has helped prepare me for a career after graduation.

Through the excellent program, I was able to start my networking with future journalists and people in various fields from the classroom itself. The educator at the faculty is a huge source of support and inspiration. It is through them, I have grown as a student, a person and as a professional in the communications field.

CMP 248 is relevant to the industry needs and wants. The subjects offered in this course are moulding the students into communication strategists as well as leaders in the long run. Communication and leadership are the skills needed in various levels of management and fields. Instead of learning the basic main communication subjects, students are exposed to other fields such as management, policy, business, finance etc.

Through my personal experience in various industries both local and international landscape, MC248 has equipped me with comprehensive knowledge that is effectively applicable in accommodating the communication fraternity’s prerequisites regardless of corporate, government or non-profit organisation. The course had equipped me with the fundamentals to manage communication at my workplace, conducting communication audit in managing both internal and external stakeholders, managing international relations and crisis management.

Publishing course at FKPM, UiTM is the best programme in the publishing field at first degree in the country, the student has been exposed to updated industry-standard knowledge and practices, practical real-world applications and high-quality lecturers.

MC245 requires you to have a great interest in reading, good communication and writing skills. Hence I put to good use the skills that I learned from there. Today, I play a big role in modern book industry in Malaysia. It's an interesting career because I have the power to contribute for the betterment of the society.

MC245 helped prepared me immensely for the working life. I learned skills to cover multitudes of positions for various industries related to communication. I am currently enjoying my working life managing a team of amazing individuals as well as teaching them a few tricks we communication people use as my team are not from communication background.
