This programme encourages students to explore the creation of digital content through the medium of animation, games and interactive media. Its emphasis is also on the creative and practical skills upon the reflection of learning the theoretical aspect as transferring it onto the practical aspect in creating various final products. The courses are designed to equip the students with fundamentals in visualizing their idea into a final product through various forms in relation to the expansion of the digital realm.
The New Media program is based upon the foundation of exploring the medium of animation, gamification and interactive media in creating digital content. This program encourages the students to emphasize areas in animation, gamification and interactive media to be used in creating different platforms of digital content creation. The program explores and focuses on the different time-based media, storytelling, content creation along with other emerging technologies used in the animation, games and mobile industry.
