Master of Arts in Information and Media Warfare Studies (MC701) aims to expose students with philosophical, theoretical and professional knowledge on media and information warfare through experiential learning, seminar course, case studies, research and professional talks to prepare them to be area experts, information warfare analysts, strategic thinkers and future leaders who are proactive, insightful, ethical and responsible.
This program will nurture student to relate ideas to societal issues in the field of media and communications. Student will undergo research conduct with appropriate supervision and adhere to legal, ethics and professional codes of practice. These criteria are set in order to boast the individual’s potential on leadership qualities towards the current needs of media and communication practice.
Master of Arts in Information and Media Warfare Studies (MC701) was introduced in 2006 with the objective to provide higher qualification and research skills among scholars. Being offered in coursework mode, both full-time and part-time students are required to complete the study within one and a half (1.5) or within three (3) semesters.
Student needs to complete about 40 credit hours of classes in order to graduate. An academic project will be compulsory for student to take up research writing about 15,000 to 20,000 words.
